Tell us a little about who you are and what lights you up most in this season of your life.
I am KeiMante’ Wright, and what truly ignites my spirit this season is the deep connections I share with my friends, family, and myself. I have been dedicating my energy to my 9 to 5 job, which has treated me well, while also nurturing my side gigs where I’m steadily improving. The activity I cherish most is spending quality time alone, discovering what brings me joy and tranquility.
What inspired you to create or redesign your jewelry with Angela Monaco Jewelry, and what did you want the piece to symbolize for you?
My journey as a consistent shopper with Angela Monaco is quite amusing; it all began when I modeled for the jewelry company. This led to me receiving a herringbone necklace as a gift, which sparked my interest in purchasing jewelry. I had lost some pieces during a challenging phase of my life, but now I find myself repurchasing those items and receiving even more as gifts. I've come to realize that jewelry is timeless and carries countless stories. Some pieces have accompanied me through both difficult and wonderful times, and they hold a powerful energy.

How did it feel to create something custom and deeply personal instead of choosing something more traditional or mass-produced?
The custom jewelry I own holds immense significance for me. Each time I buy a piece from Angela Monaco, it seems to arrive at just the right moment during pivotal seasons of my life.
What does adornment, personal style, or jewelry mean to you as a form of self-expression and identity?
To me, personal style is all about wearing what makes you feel the most confident and happy. I've discovered that I enjoy expressing myself through my jewelry, clothing, and overall personality.

As a queer person/couple/human moving through the world in 2026, what do you wish more people understood about the LGBTQIA+ experience, love, identity, or community?
As a queer individual navigating the world in 2026, I hope people recognize that we are beautiful beings, both inside and out. We are loving, even if misunderstood, and we possess a unique magic. We are among the most creative individuals, willing to go above and beyond for those we love, and sometimes even for strangers.

What does feeling safe, celebrated, and fully seen in a space or community mean to you personally?
Feeling celebrated is incredibly meaningful to me; it signifies that I am doing something right in my endeavors. Being fully acknowledged for every aspect of who I am reassures me that I am appreciated and valued in my entirety.

What are some creative pursuits, passions, businesses, or dreams you’re currently pouring energy into that you’d love people to know about and support?
Currently, I am channeling my creative passions into various ventures, exploring my roles as a creative director, casting director, and photographer. Recently, I have also been focusing on leadership, as I feel destined to lead and manage a business in the future. Additionally, I have been nurturing my spiritual side.
What does “wearing your truth” mean to you?
Embracing my truth means I am genuinely presenting myself as my beautiful self, both inside and out. I cherish every aspect of who I am, even when others may not fully comprehend me. While their opinions may not affect me, I hold a deep understanding of my identity and a profound love for who I am.
