How It Works
Permanent Jewelry, or as we like to call them around here, Lazer Links, is a bracelet, anklet, or necklace that is secured via a jump ring that is then welded to itself and closed using our laser welder.Â
A Lazer Link DOES NOT have a clasp and therefore is "permanent" in the sense that it would require a little more effort than undoing a clasp to take it off. (Depending on the thickness you may need scissors or wire cutters to remove it.)Â
Permanent bracelets are the new and improved version of the threaded friendship bracelets we so loved as kids... just made out of various metals instead.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, Lazer Link offerings appointments or walk ins at our Rittenhouse Square Jewelry shop. We also suggest following AMJ on instagram @angelamonacojewelry and turning on your notifications for our account since you may be able to snag last minute appointments.
Does it hurt?
Not at all! You won't feel anything. Fitting the bracelet is the longest part of this process. From there with a little laser love, the teeniest puff of smoke, and a little swipe of final polishing by hand you'll be good to go in minutes.Â
Will it go off in a metal detector?
No it will not, this is a myth. Metal detectors don't pick up on jewelry metals anymore. But should you need to remove your bracelet for a medical procedure, emergency or any other reason; scissors, pliers or wire cutters will work to remove it and you can always have a new jump ring added and have it laser-linked again.
Appointments
Lazer Links appointments take approximately 15-20 minutes and can currently accommodate up to two people per appointment.
If you need to cancel your appointment, we ask that you please contact us at least 24 hours in advance.

I am so happy with how my rings turned out and I think it was very fairly priced! My only issue during the whole process was around timing/expectation setting, I was initially told it would take about 3 weeks to complete the repairs and in the end it took 7 weeks. I wasn't in a huge rush it was just caused a lot of back and forth throughout the process trying to get updates. I wish I knew it would be almost two months when I dropped it off so that I had better expectations.

Great experience and very easy to order. My only request is for a custom stone and jewelry like this, it would be nice if it came with a cute description card or something describing the stone and setting so the receiver of the gift has information about the crystal.
