I have an heirloom ring. Can I use its gemstones for my custom jewelry design?
Absolutely! In fact, reusing gemstones and metals is one of the most sustainable ways to create jewelry.
Can I get my custom jewelry engraved?
Yes, totally! We think engraving is one of the most meaningful final touches to any custom project.
Can an existing AMJ design be used to jumpstart my custom order?
One of our favorite requests is to make one of our designs your own! We can change just about any detail: finish, material and even color.
Can we still work together if I can't visit your location in Philadelphia?
Yes, absolutely! We do fabulous work remotely through communicating via phone, emails and Zoom. 2020 has taught us how to provide an intimate customer experience from a safe distance, filled with education, connection and fun!
How do I best maintain the fresh look of my custom ring?
At AMJ, we offer free cleanings for life with your custom order.
How do I find out my partner's ring size?
We offer complimentary ring sizers through our online store. And they ship free!
If you want it to be a secret you can take a ring that they wear and carefully trace the inside of the band as close to the edge as possible with a pencil or fine-tipped pen.
How long does a custom project take to complete?
Typically, our timeline is 8-12 weeks from consultation to delivered product so we encourage our clients to plan accordingly.
What if the ring my partner proposed with doesn't fit?
If we designed the ring, your first resize is on us! Just bring it by our Philadelphia location or mail it to us (with insurance!). If using the mail these days scares you, you can always go to any local jeweler in your city.
