Caitlin, the intuitive behind The Cosmic Counselor, has built her work around astrology, tarot, and the Akashic Records—using the cosmos as a way to understand the stories, relationships, and transformations that shape our lives.
So when she and Daniel decided to marry, it only made sense that her wedding ring would hold a language of its own.
Caitlin is a Capricorn, ruled by Saturn. Daniel is a Cancer, ruled by the Moon—sister signs sitting opposite one another in the zodiac. Together, we translated that connection into a celestial signet ring: sunstone for Saturn, spinel for the Moon, and tiny diamonds scattered like stars. For Caitlin, Saturn represents time, devotion, and lasting commitment, while the Moon holds the energy of home, emotional safety, and belonging. We asked Caitlin a few questions and they sent us her beautiful love story.
Read Caitlin & Daniel's love story, in Caitlin's own words:
Caitlin: I love my custom wedding ring by AMJ so much. It feels uniquely me while also telling the story of our love in symbolic ways.
Daniel and I met at work during Libra season in 2022, which just happens to be the sign that rules the area of his birth chart associated with partnership. I had recently left my 14-year teaching career behind and took the job where we met to give myself the time and space to begin building my cosmic counseling business, which now includes astrology, tarot, and the Akashic Records. Back then, it was still a dream I was bringing to life (@the_cosmic_counselor).

I had also only recently opened myself up to dating again after spending six years single and focusing on myself.
In so many ways, it felt like the universe delivered Daniel to me at exactly the right moment. I remember sitting next to him on my first day in the office, and we spent the whole day talking about all the things we had in common...our love of imagination, magic, storytelling, and so much more. At some point, I asked him his birthday and discovered he was the Cancer to my Capricorn.
Our first official date happened during Scorpio season, the sign that rules *my* partnership house, and we went deep immediately. We pulled tarot cards and talked about parts of our lives you probably wouldn’t normally share on a first date...but I loved it, and so did he. That Christmas, he became the first person to ever gift me a tarot deck. It’s true what they say: when you know, you know.
The funny thing is, I never really thought I would get married. I always imagined Daniel and I would simply be life partners. Then Libra season arrived again in 2025, and I had one of those unexpected moments when my perspective completely shifted. We decided we wanted to get married as a way of honoring the love and life we had built together.

I knew immediately that if I was going to wear a wedding ring, I wanted it to carry be celestial, symbolic, and completely my own. I started researching jewelers in Philadelphia who could help me bring that vision to life.
Then, during Scorpio season in 2025, I was working a Mystic’s Day event giving readings when I met Angela. She was working the event too, offering permanent jewelry. It felt like another one of those meetings the universe had arranged for me.
I absolutely loved working with Angela and the AMJ team. They are such wonderful humans, and our relationship even came full circle when I taught an astrology workshop for them after the ring was completed.
From the beginning, I knew I wanted my ring to incorporate Saturn and the Moon. I am a Capricorn, a sign ruled by Saturn, while Daniel is a Cancer, a sign ruled by the Moon. Angela happened to have the perfect stones in her collection to symbolize both: a sunstone for Saturn and a spinel for the Moon.

I chose a signet-style ring with tiny diamonds scattered around the stones to represent stars. But the symbolism goes even deeper for me. Cancer and Capricorn are sister signs of the zodiac, sitting opposite one another and representing two complementary ends of the same axis. I am a Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, while Daniel is a Cancer, ruled by the Moon. Saturn speaks to time, devotion, and long-term commitment, while the Moon represents home, emotional safety, and belonging. Together, they felt like the perfect symbols for the relationship and life we have created together.
So instead of loving each other to the Moon and back, I like to think that Daniel and I will always love each other to the Moon and to Saturn.
In keeping with who we are, we wanted the way we married to feel personal and meaningful rather than traditional for tradition’s sake. We married at home in a self-uniting ceremony that incorporated handfasting, an ancient ritual in which a couple’s hands are bound together as a symbol of their commitment. It was intimate, magical, and completely ours.
I will never forget the joy of bringing this vision to life with AMJ or the first time I saw the finished ring and slipped it onto my finger. I get compliments on it all the time, and one of my favorite things about it is that most people probably wouldn’t immediately know it is a wedding ring. That makes it feel even more special to me. It doesn’t look like anyone else’s idea of what a wedding ring should be. It looks like *ours*.
Thank you, Angela and Team AMJ, for helping me turn our love story into something I get to wear every day.
